The Themed-Stay Starter Checklist
A compact worksheet for picking the guest, promise, proof, budget, and operating burden before you buy anything. It is built to kill weak ideas early and sharpen the ones worth testing.
What it includes
- Guest filter: who chooses this stay on purpose, and who should not.
- Promise test: the sentence the room must make true in the first five minutes.
- Proof list: visible objects, rituals, and photos that make the theme obvious.
- Operations check: what cleaners, co-hosts, and guests can realistically maintain.
Preview
- Guest filter: "This is for cyclists carrying their own bikes, not guests who vaguely like the outdoors."
- Promise test: "Within five minutes, the guest can see where the bike sleeps, where it gets washed, and where tomorrow route starts."
- Kill test: if the cleaner cannot reset the proof in under ten minutes, simplify the theme before launch.
